In this vision, I saw this ship in the water, and it was laden with a heavy cargo that appeared to be piled up on the back of it. The ship was so heavy laden that large ropes were applied to hold the cargo tightly; but that made very little difference. The load was so heavy that it caused the stern to come way up out of the water and shift from one side and then to the other. For fear of sinking, I saw those on the ship begin to untie the ropes to balance the load; but, when they did, the ship began to lie down on her side, creating panic and causing the people to work to regain control and retie the load.
I began to ask the Lord what all this meant, and he replied back to me, instructing me to look at the load. And as I focused on the cargo I saw the words on one of boxes that said, “The cares of this world”. I stopped for a moment because I knew what was coming. The Lord had been dealing with me to go before the people when he showed me things, and I was momentarily fighting with that. He told me to continue to look at the cargo, so I turned my attention again to focus on the other words written on the boxes. This time the words evil reports appeared, and immediately I knew the people had been listening to the news reporters more than spending time in reading God’s word. The next words I saw were worry and fears of every sort, and then I saw the word weakness. The Lord said, “I can’t get through to my people because of all of this. It is causing my people to be dull of hearing, and they are becoming desponded[disheartened or discouraged] and losing all hope. He went on to say there were a few trying to regain a balance, this was what the shifting of the load was all about, but by this time, things were completely out of control.
Then in the vision, I saw myself go forward, and by God’s instructions, I was to appeal to the people to worship the Lord with all their might. I was to rally them to the fact that he had washed their sins in his own blood, died for them, and deserved there reverence. I was to remind them that they were the ones that were to be fearless, and we are to possess the land and to occupy until he comes back. I was also to tell them that they were the ones to be victorious and free. And the reason things seemed so hard and why they could not move in their freedom was because they were heavy laden with worry and the cares of the world. This caused everything to become hard and complicated, causing the Lord to become distant to them.
The Lord said, “If they will truly worship me, I will set them free this morning, right now.”
Then he showed me what would happen if they truly worshipped Him and would enter in to his presence. It was like a hand appeared and severed the ropes. And after that, it was like the Holy Ghost created this awesome gentle wind, and it pick up the ship and set her on course. This wind seemed to move the ship along smoothly on her course with a purpose; and as she continued, her pace seemed to increase as if she were catching up where she had lost time in all the cares of the world. It also appeared like the glory of the Lord had engulfed her to the point she seemed to disappear in this cloud of glory. It was as if the glory cloud took her on into heaven itself.
